Tune in tonight.
“…we'll track the new forthcoming & LONG awaited release from Chicago progressive metal band Aziola Cry and the Sensory Records release titled The Ironic Divide.”
I am very excited to announce the premiere of the Aziola Cry video for “And Cowards.”

The first two albums started with soundscapes, so I intentionally wanted this one to begin differently. I like the contrast of my solo with the rest of the song. This very minimal Warr Guitar and drums section creates a sonic break that helps the song to build up to its climax. For the video, I once again worked with Micka Klauck and Jeremy Bessoff to create the visuals for the music. Micka created a unique drawing of the character from the cover. Jeremy used this art along with my story concept to produce an animation with a deeper, underlying meaning. For the band portion, we rented out an old, dilapidated department store and spent most of the night filming with Eric James Walsh in the freezing Chicago weather.

I have completed work on two new albums with one of them being mastered this week and the other ready to go. Much of the recording was done from November through January with extra time put in during the holiday break. They are very different from each other which is why I worked on them simultaneously. I am making plans now to release them hopefully before summer.

Cover art for the new Aziola Cry has been revealed today on the band’s social sites and here in the discography section. Once again, Micka Klauck handled all artwork and imagery for the release. The album comes out on Sensory Records on March 26th, 2021.
The release date for the new Aziola Cry album has been set for March 26th. More news and promotional leaks are set for the upcoming months leading up to the day.
After having worked on and off for many years, I have completed the music for an arti installation by the name of “Mummy Forest”. It was just sent off to the team for next steps. Stay tuned for updates and future dates.
I have been busy getting promotional materials ready for the Aziola Cry release coming up. Last week, we filmed a video in an abandoned warehouse and this week the band took new photos. The plan is to send them off to Sensory Records once they are complete.
I contributed a track to an AEMC compilation album that was released today. The requirement was that the song must be one minute in length. I went for a ghostly soundtrack vibe. Give the album a listen at the AEMC Bandcamp site.
Visit my Bandcamp site (Merch button) to buy my new ambient release. You can also stream it at your favorite sites. Thanks in advance for giving it a listen.
The Darkness Found In Shadows, my new dark ambient album will be released this Friday, November 13th. I really wanted to release it this year as I have quite a bit of news coming soon related this this music. The album will be available for purchase at Bandcamp and through all streaming services.
This Sunday, November 1st, I go into Transient Sound to record a solo Warr Guitar album. The six part composition has elements of classical music with a touch of the Aziola Cry progressive sound. Check out my social media for updates and pictures of the session.
Aziola Cry T-shirts just arrived and I think that they look great. Micka Klauck helped design two different looks for the shirts. One is based on the new album cover while the other uses “Hawrar” the figure that has played heavily into the bands design. I am looking into ways to make them available outside of shows.
While I am somewhat new to social media, I am enjoying connecting to people through this medium. Please like or follow me on your favorite social media platform.

While soundscapes have played a role in a lot of the music that I have composed, this will be my first album completely made up of ambient music. Thematically, it follows the idea that humans have a dark side .
